Head Housekeeper Job Description
The Head Housekeeper is an energetic, service oriented individual who joins our housekeeping team
to coordinate workflow to ensure deadlines are successfully met and a consistently high standard of
cleanliness and service is maintained throughout the lodge.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Oversees and assists in daily room service to guest rooms and overall cleanliness of lodge interior.
- Maintains inventory of linen and housekeeping supplies
- Assists Chef with meal preparation, serves meals, assists with kitchen cleanup and dish washing.
- Assists Lodge Supervisor with scheduling, department planning and job development
- Trains, supervises, and evaluates housekeeping staff
- Monitors base station radio as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Housekeeping experience and supervisory experience is essential.
- Must have a positive attitude and a commitment to quality customer service.
- Physically fit for frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting.
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts which include split shifts, evenings, weekends & holidays.
- Works with minimal supervision, works effectively as a team, demonstrates honesty and integrity.
