Lodge Supervisor Job Description

The Lodge Supervisor is an energetic, service-oriented individual who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of our boutique lodge to ensure guest expectations are exceeded and a consistently high standard of customer service and cleanliness is maintained.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Provide guest care, greet and welcome guests, provide lodge orientation.
• Assist Chef with meal planning and inventory control.
• Perform weekly grocery and supply run, transfer guests to and from lodge as needed.
• Manage gift shop, manage bookings and communicate timely with Reservation Office
• Assist, lead, supervise, and train housekeeping and kitchen staff.
• Resolve team conflict respectfully and effectively.
• Monitor base radio station as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Supervisory, restaurant and housekeeping experience.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills and computer skills-Word, Email, Internet.
• Participative management style.
• Strong customer service orientation and skills.
• Presentable and professional, with a positive attitude, honesty and integrity.
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts which include split shifts, evenings, weekends & holidays.
