Lodge Supervisor Job Description
The Lodge Supervisor is an energetic, service-oriented individual who will be responsible for overseeing
the day-to-day operation of our boutique lodge to ensure guest expectations are exceeded and a
consistently high standard of customer service and cleanliness is maintained.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide guest care, greet and welcome guests, provide lodge orientation.
- Assist Chef with meal planning and inventory control.
- Perform weekly grocery and supply run, transfer guests to and from lodge as needed.
- Manage gift shop, manage bookings and communicate timely with Reservation Office
- Assist, lead, supervise, and train housekeeping and kitchen staff.
- Resolve team conflict respectfully and effectively.
- Monitor base radio station as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Supervisory, restaurant and housekeeping experience.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills and computer skills-Word, Email, Internet.
- Participative management style.
- Strong customer service orientation and skills.
- Presentable and professional, with a positive attitude, honesty and integrity.
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts which include split shifts, evenings, weekends & holidays.
