Chef Jessica Willott

Lila Ruzicka

Chef Lila Ruzicka was born and raised in Vancouver, BC, where she grew up around a diverse culinary bounty and her passion for cooking and baking led her to her first cooking job by 15. After high school she traveled through Europe where her passion for great food and travel truly blossomed. She received her culinary and pastry diploma from the Dubrule Culinary Institute in Vancouver and went on to apprentice at renowned Bishops Restaurant, Vancouver and at the Wickaninnish Inn, Tofino,B.C.

From there, her career and wanderlust has taken her on a diverse culinary path. From super yachts on the seas to backcountry lodges in the mountains, from movie catering in the city to artisanal chocolatier, cooking at fine wineries in Australia and New Zealand, pastry chefing at fly in sport fishing lodges and most recently cooking on eco adventure tall ship charters 'Maple Leaf'.

Lila is very happy to return to the Great Northern family again after 8 years of adventures. She looks forward to all the familiar faces, mountain air and of course the fresh tracks.
