We are pleased to have Rebecca Clair return to the Great Northern lodge team as our Chef. Rebecca has created a fresh menu for Great Northern this year that blends traditional and international fusion cuisine, and reflects her broad work and travel experience.
Rebecca's debut as a professional chef was 13 years ago, when she took an apprenticeship in the Flemish town of Bruges in Belgium. She spent the six years, prior to last year with us, as a chef on barges with European Waterways, cooking up all sorts of delights from glorious game in the beautiful, green, rugged mountains of Scotland to tasty specialties of the sea along the sun baked shores of the Mediterranean. Rebecca has adored cooking from a young age and particularly enjoys the personal touches possible while cooking for a select group of guests.
In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys traveling, reading, sketching, hiking and being in the great outdoors. With Rebecca heading up the Great Northern kitchen, we know that our skiers are in for a real treat this winter!
