Chef - Position has been filled for the 2019 winter season.


Job description:

Chef will be responsible for top quality food preparation, cooking and presentation for approximately 20 guests plus kitchen management.

  • Prepare and cook full course meals

  • Prepare and cook individual dishes and foods

  • Plan menus

  • Ensure quality of food and determine size of food portions

  • Work with minimal supervision

  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

  • Estimate food requirements and costs

  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas

  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

  • Clean kitchen and work areas

  • Manage kitchen operations

Job requirements:

  • FOOD SAFE certificate

  • Position requires prior kitchen experience

  • An enthusiastic, hospitality professional with a creative flare for menu planning and presentation

  • Must be flexible, energetic, friendly and have good customer service skills

  • Remote setting requires confidence and ability to innovative

  • Honesty and integrity, positive attitude
