Effective July 1, 2010, the Government of British Columbia is introducing a harmonized sales tax (HST). The full impacts of the HST on the price structure of tourism-related businesses is not yet fully understood, however the BC Tourism Industry continues to lobby Government Ministries to mitigate effects of this new tax to our visitors.
